Welcome to the Halifax County Exhibition
“It’s a Family Tradition” and has been for the last 138 years! The Middle Musquodoboit Agricultural Society is thrilled to host the Halifax County Exhibition after a two year hiatus. Come and join in the fun! Make a day of it, and bring the whole family.
Lots to see and do . . . “open air” show rings featuring 4-H Day competitions, Light Horse and Draft Horse Show classes, Dairy and Beef Shows, fun and games! Stroll through the barns and meet some of the many exhibitors and their prize livestock. Stop by the Entertainment Stage and enjoy the many musical acts and magician show. Handcraft and Homecraft displays, vegetable displays, educational info and a host of organizations and vendors can be found in the Multi-Purpose Agricultural Education Centre, you can even find a “farm focused” play space for the kids there. Visit the Flower Barn for gorgeous arrangements, stunning beauty and soak up the uplifting fragrance from a variety of flowers. Enjoy a ride in the midway and a tasty treat from the many food vendors on site.
The exhibition grounds are owned and operated by the Middle Musquodoboit Agricultural Society. Many volunteers donate their time and talents and with a lot of hard work and dedication they enable us to host a 4 day “country exhibition” showcasing agriculture in the Musquodoboit Valley and surrounding areas. Fun, excitement, education and entertainment . . . a great combo, we are happy you could join us!
The Middle Musquodoboit Agricultural Society and the Halifax County Exhibition Committee extend a huge THANK YOU to our sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, volunteers, staff, and attendees, who support this wonderful community event year after year. Thank you to each and everyone one of you and we hope you enjoy your time with us!
Have fun!
